I visited indian …
I visited indian river inlet today to try my luck with stripers. I fished 9 hours not even 1 hit. Water looked clear. Maybe it was a bad time to go with all that bait around. I was using buck tails.
yeah that is a good …
yeah that is a good presentation as well and ive caught about equal number of stripers on both spoon and white grub on jig. nothing was working yesterday probably because the bait school was not in the vicinity on the beach where i was fishing and so the fish were with the bait. thx 4 watching.
wow that was great …
wow that was great footage. Really cool to see all those bait fish! Hope you have better luck next time you go fishing. Im going to capemay next week for stripers. Im going to have a video by next monday.
Sorry to hear no …
Sorry to hear no hits MrG – thx 4 that report. I know a few stripers are being caught mainly at night by long liners but the massive bait school is probably making it more difficult for everyone to get fish to hit. Bucktail is a darn good presentation – dont give up on it – ive caught the majority of my saltwater fish on bucktails since a kid – heck, when i was a kid i never had another lure! Id go anywhere in town with just a couple plain white bucktails – no trailers.
hey Joe – good …
hey Joe – good timing for Cape May if winds are tolerable. its been unfishable here a couple weeks but fish are around. get em!
Amazing! I would …
Amazing! I would probably throw a white grub or some type of fluke like the tiny flukes or like the gulp alive minnow in 3″ on a white jighead!
