@aalong64 If I was you, I would hold a microphone up to a real door in your house/apartment or whatnot and open/close it a few times if you are able. Then pick the best sound out of it. We actually did something like that using a sword to dub over a sword slashing scene in one of our god awful short videos, I just set up my studio microphone and swiped next to it a few times, lol.
